Falmec is celebrating its quarter century with the inauguration of a new warehouse and surprising new Show Room.
Its history is a fascinating story typical of a company in Northeast Italy. Indeed the company started out from the intuition of its founders - Danilo and Maurizio Poser - and a specific market demand. In time, this developed from a semi-artisan enterprise which was transformed into a true and proper industry, creating innovative products and avant-garde design where technological contents blend with sophisticated design.
Over 100 employees operate within the structure and everyday the research and development department is busy identifying new technologies and new market segments; with an annual production of well over 150,000 units, Falmec distributes its products all over the world with a substantially balanced division between import and export turnover.
Falmec partners are the major kitchen manufacturers that are present on the market: some of these are Scavolini, Snaidero, Berloni, Febal and Veneta Cucine.
Today, Falmec is located on a production premises of 27,000 sqm that has recently been enlarged and is now highly automated. The company currently produces almost 70 different models with over 500 different versions available and just as many models are destined to clients that require a customized product: 85% of the production is dedicated to the stainless steel models whilst 15% of the production is destined to rustic hoods.
From the processing of the stainless steel right through to the powder painting phase of the internal areas, from the sound absorption chambers to the imprint-proof Fasteel material, Falmec hoods represent the state-of-the-art within the industry.
Technical research
Heart of the technology: continual research into advanced solutions
Falmec is the European leader in the kitchen hood production industry thanks to the continual research into technologically advanced solutions that allow it to be competitive in the global market.
The research and development department designs products that respond to the highest standards of efficiency and safety; amongst the solutions developed are: the exclusive Delta Sensor system that allows to automate the functions of the hood so that it: switches on, lights up, extract, and switch off whenever needed; innovative imprint-proof Fasteel stainless steel, the new extremely silent 800 motor, the new electronic 4-speed push-button panel with peripheral lighting.
At the moment the research and development department is working on various new projects which are focused on noise reduction as well as the creation of an optical touch-type command system inserted within the glass.Falmec S.p.A is an italian company
